Baby Gear Reviews

There’s a fine line between helpful and hinderance when it comes to baby gear. Of the millions of options for everything under the sun for babies, there are a few needs and SO many extras. I have worked with some fantastic brands recently and I want to share my honest to goodness reviews about the products with you! As a price tag conscious shopper with a very limited budget, one thing I always hope you find here is transparency- know that I will never suggest a product I don’t love or post a review that didn’t come from my heart. So without further adieu:

1- the DockATot. By now you probably all know my true feelings on this- I LOVE the dock. It is one of- if not the most- used baby item we own. Is it an investment? Yes. Is it totally worth it? YES. Theo sleeps in it daily, and Milo still uses the Grande size as a bed bumper. The DockATot hands down has my seal of approval.

2- Lorena Canals rug. I love that these rugs are machine washable, and the prints are beyond fun. I think a rug can do so much to wake up a room with minimal effort, and in my opinion, the bigger the better! Again, these rugs are pricey. BUT they are high quality and washable. If quality and ease of cleaning are priorities for you, Lorena Canals is the way to go!

3- Binxy Baby cart hammock. I think this is a genius product and very well priced. The prints are darling and they are really easy to throw in the diaper bag. They are also super easy to attach to the cart. Full honesty here- my babies are always worn or carried in the store. It’s the only way they’ll be content for the whole time and I’d rather not have to fuss with moving them in and out of the cart. They almost always want to nurse while we shop and to me it’s just easier to wear them or hold them. But! If you have a baby who is content to ride and look around at the store, this option is perfect and I totally approve the price, too, which is a lot coming from me.

4- Ollie World swaddle. Love. This swaddle is butter soft and the Velcro makes it so simple to use. It hasn’t been the easiest to use on Theo yet since he is SO tiny, but I know I’ll get a ton of use out of it very soon as he grows. We swaddle for a long time and anything that keeps it simple gets my stamp of approval. The price is decent- I would file this under somewhat of a splurge item or a good gift item. BUT if you buy a 2 pack you’re set to have one clean at least *most* of the time!

I would love to hear what you swear by and what you think is extra! What do you use constantly? What did you think you’d use that you don’t?
