This post was sponsored by SoCozy, but all opinions are my own.
Figuring out boy hair has been a learning curve for me. My own personal hairstyle has always been simple, and I've never even pretended to know how to do boy hair! We do homemade haircuts, ponytails for mom, and always air dry. That said, I fall more in love with forcing my children to play dress up with me all the time. They are such handsome little dudes and when they're not running around barefoot in the mud or playing with the hose, they clean up so well!
For the longest time, I only used water and a spritz of hairspray or mousse to style Milo's hair. It always held for a sad amount of time and did nothing but fuel my fire of indifference about doing their hair because it just got instantly messed up anyway! Add to that baby hands immediately feeling around for what you're doing on their heads, and you can understand my- dare I say- laziness.
Enter SoCozy. I honestly can't say enough good things about these styling products! They smell amazing, don't leave any yucky residue, and they withstand the busy little boy test (if you have little ones, you know what I mean!). Their products are nontoxic and devoid of any harsh chemicals which is huge for me- I don't like putting anything questionable on their heads or near their eyes.
Our favorite products are the 3 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner + Body Wash, Detangler + Leave-In Conditioner, and the Styling Gel (my personal favorite!). Simplicity is a high priority for me when it comes to hair, and these products fit the bill. You can't beat a 3 in 1 soap and it's so nice to put a pea sized amount of gel on my hands, rub it through their hair, and- voila- be DONE.
I'm officially recommitted to styling my boys' hair more often because they always melt me, but I love maximizing on their little dreamboat domes. Run to Walgreens ASAP- SoCozy products are $4 off for the month of November! Happy styling!
