Moving + My Boys3:10 PM
Speaking of- we need to move like yesterday. The people at Target are starting to call me out on how often The boys and I go. It's embarrassing. But come on! My options in this small town are clearly extremely limited. They should be so lucky to be graced with the presence of the Hansen family circus on the regular.
Milo refers to every old person as "monga (grandma) and pocka (grandpa)" and TOTALLY called out an older lady in the aisle the other day- "you hear monga's bumbum?" THANK GOODNESS for made up toddler words and let's all pray that monga didn't hear him.
Milo likes to carry his animals around in his cart or on a book. He's always sure to tell them to "hold on type!"
That boy knows how to throw anQUALITY tantrum. There is officially no reasoning with an angry 2 year old. I don't know what's wrong and I don't know how to fix it, but I definitely know you're REALLY mad, my child. So many crocodile tears. So much forced whining.
Yesterday I told Milo thank you for being such a good boy when we went out. To which he responded: "yup! I have a little treat?" He knows the system. #oops
This week my beautiful jogging stroller finally went on sale! And we ordered it! In an ugly color but who cares!! We will soon be back in jogging business! This brings my heart (which is super struggling to find the time to work out or the energy when the time does present itself when both boys are sleeping) a WHOLE lot of joy. I'm all for workouts that get us all out during awake time!
Otto has a magical way of always spitting up right when I change him or me, pooping right when I change his bum, and waking up right when I go to sleep. It's uncanny. Every parent says this about their kid but mine ACTUALLY does it. Every time. Without fail.
2 month olds have my heart. Something happens to babies at 2 months old and regardless of how cute they have been their whole lives, they just become a delicious squish of perfect baby. All the heart eyes for this little munch.
