Milo-isms

This boy! He's learning and growing and changing so fast and I don't want to forget a thing! I keep a running note in my phone so I can remember to journal on this little blog of ours about all my favorite Milo words and tricks and funny things. As of lately...

Milo waves to EVERYONE. When we go out in the stroller each morning, it doesn't matter if it's someone old getting their mail or a mowing crew cutting the grass in a yard and not looking at him at all, he. will. wave. And he will wave hard. and for a long time. And I just sit there hoping in my head that whoever he's waving to will catch his little eye because you cannot leave someone that cute and little and enthusiastic hanging!

He loves apple juice. A few weeks ago he woke up in the night and yelled out "I want apple juice!" until I went and got him some. Not a normal habit, but if he wanted it that bad right then, I can appease him ;).

He loves playing froggy ("riddit"). He frog jumps all over the house for so long. Do you know how much energy it takes to riddit!?

He loves to run. He looks at me and says, "I go run! I see you later!" and starts running in place, then away, then back to me, and says "I back!" and then, you know. Repeat, repeat, repeat.

He discovered the moon a few weeks ago. Now he loves it. "I see moon!" And when it's out of sight, "where go? Moon?" "There he is!"

He calls blueberries boobies. So he asks me for more boobies all the time. And right now all the berries (strawberries, raspberries) are boobies. We're working on that one.

He points out every motorcycle, helicopter, airplane, bird, dog, truck, big truck, and cat he ever sees.

He loves to do somersaults (we call them flips because it's way easier to say). He's actually pretty dang good at them! Future gymnast?

Milo could go swimming (chimming) all day every day. He is such a water baby!

We are having so much fun with him right now. I always say that, and it's always true! Love love love my sweet boy!

  1. Catching up on a few posts that I hadn't read yet. Milo sounds so much like colby! Colby isn't talking yet, so he can't call Berries booties (oh my gosh, so funny!) But he loves eating them. Just actually learned to point at the moon (if it's up in the day, or if he's up late enough) loves pointing at planes and helicopters, and loves waving at people (it just breaks my heart when people aren't looking or are grumpy and don't wave back) anyway, I hope colby continues to grow up to be as cute as your milo!
