24 Weeks

Little munch boy is the size of an eggplant! This is a significantly sized baby you guys! And strong! Always likes to party when it's bedtime, so I fall asleep to a wiggly tum every night.

Energy is decent, but right now we're in Las Vegas and our days consist of naps and swimming :). It's kind of heavenly!

Favorite thing this week: We picked out little man's special animal! When I was pregnant with Milo, we bought him his special lion, and wanted to keep the tradition going. Milo approves of baby brother's little giraffe!
Sickness is something I can't really talk about right now. Because... yeah. It's not going away. It's not going to go away. So I'm dealing and trying to ignore it. And speaking of which- here comes the heartburn.

Exercise: Still jogging some, but also walking plenty. The jogging stroller has been my saving grace the past couple of months and we play it by ear each morning. Still going more by time than distance and shooting for about an hour a day of walking and/or running, and it works great!
Craving: Still chicken. Preferably of the fried, popcorn variety. Ice. Cold fruit. And buffalo wing pretzel chips. I need them daily. I'm going to be really honest with you- I'm a pretty awful eater when pregnant. I'm mainly good in normal non-pregnant life but when everything induces nausea and vomiting, there's really only so much control you can have over what you can maybe kind of stomach for a few hours and keep down partially. I also often really crave salad and veggies, but they destroy me without fail every time. Insert waterfall cry emoji.

Contractions all the time, especially if I'm walking/up on my feet a lot. Only braxton hicks though- my tummy gets really really tight and there's lots of pressure.

Favorite thing: ALL the wiggles! All the time. Constantly watching this boy from the outside!

This pregnancy is still flying by. I'm amazed. And thrilled. OH my goodness I'm so excited!!!

  1. Mad props to you running while pregnant! I did work out until 3 days before I had Caroline, but I definitely was not running. It was more like sitting on the stationary bike and try to muster up energy to move my feet. Haha. You are a pretty little preggo lady!
