My Momiform7:47 AM
I love the idea of the "Momiform" (here and here). With as much running around as we do, it's so nice to have a go-to outline of an outfit that I know will be comfortable and move with me, because let's be honest, I'm heavy lifting/bending down/running and crawling all day long. Over the past few months, I've developed a momiform of my own.
I decided I'm going to do a kind of series of momiform outfits, because they vary with the weather and my mood, but some aspects of them are always consistent:
-Long shirts. Because moving around as much as I do, I so don't want to be readjusting/pulling at my shirt all day.
-Shoes that allow for speed. I love me a good pair of sky high heels, but usually these aren't very convenient for lugging a massive carseat into the store. Boots with a small heel? Totally fine. They stay on and are easy to walk in. But I usually save the stilettos for church and office hours.
-Easy hair. As much as I always like to have my hair done, some days I need to get out of the house in 15 minutes and it's just not going to happen. So, I like to have some ideas of quick but still cute hair in my cannon (i.e. a bun or natural waves).
-Comfortable pants or skirts. Because nobody wants to have their waist being attacked by a tight button all day long. And let's not pretend that maxi dresses are anything but glorified sweatpants, and that skirts are anything but air conditioning in the summer. Both PERFECT options in my book!
Anything that requires little adjustment/maintenance throughout the day is a win in my book.
