Just plain cool!

9:00 AM

In honor of spring break this week the kids and I made some spring break rainbow cupcakes.  I thought the kids would enjoy the different colors, but I've got to be honest I'm mesmerized by these things.  I don't care how old you are, this is just plain awesome!

It's like biting into a rainbow!  And it's so stinkin' easy!

Supplies:
- cake mix
- cupcake liners
- food coloring
- frosting

Directions:
- prepare cake mix
- separate cake batter into equal parts (as many parts as you have colors)
- add food coloring to the batter
- spoon different colors into cupcake liners
 - bake
- frost

That's it!  How seriously easy is that?!  As long as you don't stir the different colors together they will stay separate while they bake, and then every time you take a bite you can look at the beautiful swirls inside! It's like artwork you can eat!
