I love: weekends

6:04 PM

I love weekends.  Even weekends that are pretty much defined by my poor, poor sick baby who is just not kicking RSV quite as quickly as I had hoped.  Here's my weekend:

- Snuggled this little man through another Dr. appointment and a million breathing treatments

- date night with this boy, Empire Strikes Back

- Late night dinner with the hubs, Mooyah Burger? Awesome fries?  Turkey Burger with bacon and blue cheese?  Bring it on!

- Got my girl all dolled up for a the annual Daddy Daughter Dance, I was not allowed to use a curling iron or anything hot...

- Watched Breakfast at Tiffany's for the first time.  How have I never seen that movie?  Loved it.

- Slept in until 9 a.m Sunday morning, nothing short of a miracle

- Went to all my classes at church since baby stayed home with dad, two miracles in one day?!

- Made up a new recipe (yep, out of my own brain, not from pinterest)
Do you want it?  It's pretty amazing:
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
combine, put a scoop in the bottom of a cupcake liner, bake for 8 min. at 350
when the cookies are still hot put a whole reese's pb cup on top
devour

- Spent a little time Sunday night catching up with Darth.  He's really a nice guy if you get to know him.

Even without an awesome date night or crazy exciting plans weekends are just awesome!

  3. Aw, poor baby! It's never any fun when kids get sick. My daughter just got over a little cold and I felt so bad for her.
