How Step Aerobics Kicked My Butt

I got beat up today.  For real.  The assailant: my step aerobics instructor.  The weapon: lunges.

Oh lunges, so good for the quads but so hard to do, especially for what seemed like 20 minutes straight.   Front four, side two, over the step, side two, back four, repeat a million times, OUCH! And this lady LOVES to repeat those intervals.  We did this routine 3 times throughout the course of the workout.  I about died the first time through.  Let's just say I won't be doing the stair master tomorrow as planned.

Ya gotta love a good workout, though.  There's nothing better than truly feelin' the burn!
